Welcome to Anna ISD! We are so excited to officially welcome you to the Coyote family.
Welcome Week is designed to help new employees start strong, feel connected, and know where to go for support before the school year begins. Over these three days, you will meet district leaders, connect with your campus or department, learn about important systems and supports, and begin building the relationships that will help you thrive in Anna ISD.
Whether you are brand new to education, new to Anna ISD, or stepping into a new role, this week is all about helping you feel prepared, welcomed, and ready for a successful year.

Welcome Week is designed for new Anna ISD employees, including:
- New teachers
- New paraprofessionals
- New administrators
- New campus-based staff
- New auxiliary staff
- New district-level employees
- First- and second-year teachers participating in First-Year Teacher Academy
What to Expect
During Welcome Week, you will have opportunities to:
- Meet Anna ISD leaders, departments, and support teams
- Learn about district systems, expectations, and resources
- Connect with your campus or department
- Explore sessions specific to your role or assignment
- Build relationships with mentors, colleagues, and district staff
- Prepare for a strong start to the 2026–2027 school year
Schedule at a Glance
Tuesday, July 21 — New Employee Welcome
Day 1 includes check-in, coffee and bagels, the campus and department welcome fair, superintendent’s welcome, benefits presentation, campus bus tour, lunch sponsored by the Anna Education Foundation, and campus/department orientation.
Wednesday, July 22 — Department Discovery
New employees will participate in an interactive “Who We Are & What We Do” department fair experience. You will visit the tables most connected to your role, learn who supports what across the district, and begin building your Anna ISD support network.
Thursday, July 23 — First-Year Teacher Academy & New to You Day
First- and second-year teachers will attend First-Year Teacher Academy. Other employees may attend New to You Day sessions based on their role, assignment, or professional learning needs.
Registration Notes
Please review the schedule carefully and register for the sessions that apply to your role. Some sessions are required for specific employee groups, while others are optional or recommended based on your assignment.
If you are unsure which sessions you should attend, please reach out to your supervisor, campus administrator, or the event planning team.
Location
Most Welcome Week activities will begin at the Anna ISD Administration Building, with some sessions taking place at campuses or other district locations. Please check each session description for the correct location.
